Whenever we go to England, we always return with a spare suitcase full of goodies. The funny thing is it usually isn’t exciting fashion splurges, but bags from Waitrose, Tesco and Boots. We need to stock up! Along with Heinz tomato soup and Fortnum and Mason jam, I bring home a load of beauty products. Here are my favorites:
Nivea Pearl & Beauty Antiperspirant
Deodorant probably doesn’t sound very glamorous, but this one is! It claims to have pearl extracts in its formula, and it makes your underarms all shimmery. The real reason I stock up is the heavenly smell – the first time I wore this product out, I thought someone in the coffee shop was wearing a gorgeous perfume. Nope, just my underarms! Shop it here.
Nivea Naturals moisturizer
I never get the exact same one twice, but Nivea has a really nice natural skincare line in the UK. I think it changes names and maybe some ingredients, but the moisturizer or day cream from this line is always a winner. It is perfect for the cold winters here, and right now I am using it day and night. Shop it here.
Vaseline Rose lip therapy
I picked up three tins of these on my first trip to England, and thankfully they last forever because I am addicted! The small, round tins fit perfectly in all sorts of nooks and crannies. I love the smooth consistency of the cream and it has a lovely rosy tint! Shop it here.
Molton Brown Bath & Shower Gel
After my first trip to London, I was completely addicted to Molton Brown’s bath and shower gel. They are beautiful, high-quality products that last forever. I use maybe two bottles a year. Right now, I am going back and forth between Mesmerizing Oudh and Gold Accord and Blossoming Honeysuckle and White Tea, but I have my eye on the Delicious Rhubarb and Rose when one of those runs out.
I hope you enjoyed these little British beauty recommendations! Let me know if you try any of them out, or have any favorites of your own!
