It’s not big secret around here that I’m a big fan of Pinterest. I am an extremely visual person and the images that allow me to create almost a lookbook of what I want a specific area/topic/wardrobe to look like meets all of my teenage scrap book fantasies.
What many people don’t know about my Pinteresting is that I use it for finding out things about my friends and family. No, nothing sinister… But things like looking at the last pins made by my sister to figure out what she wants for Christmas, or reviewing a friend’s feed to find she’s pinning maternity clothes and therefore knowing she was pregnant before she announced it. Pinterest is a window into your life!
Before you go searching, my Pinterest is a tightly guarded secret. I pin all kinds of things – everything and anything that strikes my fancy – and the boards that contain things I don’t want anyone to know about (or am embarrassed by!) I have as “secret”, which is probably my favourite Pinterest feature of all time.
It seems like Pinterest has lost some buzz lately, so I’m curious if people still follow it as religiously as they used to. I do, but I often think the whole site was designed just for me. The only thing I’m missing is the ability to have my thousands of pins (verging on the tens of thousands of pins) transferred into a beautiful coffee book of images that were all specifically selected for me. There’s a product offering idea for you, Pinterest!
