Happy Monday! For many people (myself included) today marks the start of the last “week” of summer. Next Monday is Labour Day in Canada and the US and while I haven’t worn white pants since July, I will pack away all my summer clothes next weekend until next year and relish unpacking the cashmere sweaters and warm knits from storage. I live for fall, it’s my favourite season and I can not wait for it to officially get here.
August 31st: T-shirts. Bright nails. Sunscreen. Lemonade. Fruity smell. Ice cream.September 1: Boots. Dark colors. Pumpkin everything. Cider. Scarves. Pies.
This week, I’m focussing on not comparing myself to anyone else. It’s easy to take a look at the glossy life people have on social media or that they choose to share with you in real life, but it’s harder to remember that everyone has problems and is fighting their own battles. Easier said than done, but hey – you have to start somewhere… Everyone has a Chapter 1.
