I love peeking inside blogger’s bathroom cabinets, seeing the products they love and use every day. I thought it would be fun to share the inside of my bathroom cabinet with our RS readers!
I am by no means a beauty guru or expert, but I do have some fabulous beauty products in my bathroom cabinet. Let’s take a look at what is inside….
Trilogy Organic Rosehip Oil: I received this bottle to test the product for WWKD. The Duchess of Cambridge is said to use this product, and so I gave it a try. I love it as a spot treatment for blemishes and as a once-a-week marinade for our skin.
Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 1: My miracle skin cream! This moisturizer clears up my stubborn blackheads better than anything else. It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny. I usually use it at night and when my skin needs a bit extra moisture.
Aquaphor: I swipe some Aquaphor on my lips every morning, and will use it occasionally throughout the day. It is the only product that can save my super sensitive lips when they become very dry. It also works great on cuticles and rough skin patches!
Peroxi Clear: I have worn contacts for over a decade, and this new product has saved my life! The standard peroxide contact solution takes 8 hours, but this one is done in four!
Karin Herzog Professional Cleanser: Another fabulous product from KH! Great for quick cleansing in the evening. It smells like a bouquet of flowers and leaves my skin very soft.
Nivea Pearl and Beauty: I have this deodorant imported from the UK, and for good reason. It smells AMAZING! The first time I wore it, I kept thinking someone near me was wearing a pretty perfume. Nope, just my underarms! It also comes in the prettiest glass bottle!
Biotin: I take one 10,000 mcg tablet every evening. It helps keep my nails and hair strong. I notice a HUGE difference when I’ve stopped taking them for a few days. Frizzy hair and brittle nails!
Crabtree & Evelyn Citron, Honey and Coriander hand creme: This scent reminds me of a trip to LA I took a few years ago, and fills me with happy memories. The hand creme is silky and soft. I try to use it twice a day!
Essie Apricot Oil: A lifesaver for my cuticles! Just a quick swipe and they are healthy, moisturized and shiny.
Neosporin: I use Neosporin for many things, but it is truly a lifesaver for my ears! I have extra sensitive ears, and sometimes the most innocuous earrings cause trouble. If my earlobes are irritated, I’ll dip the earring back in Neosporin. The coating numbs the irritation and coats the metal so it won’t happen again!
Acuvue 2: As I said, I wear contacts everyday! I can’t imagine life without them. Acuvue 2 is an older formula, but I have always been happy with them. I wear a -8.5 prescription, which is pretty blind!
You know how The Refined Side is all about small luxuries in everyday life? I live in an apartment, so my medicine cabinet is cheap, plastic, and not exactly pretty. By keeping it clean and filling it with my favorite products, it still feels like a luxury to open it up!
