One of my favourite things is, as I have come to learn is shared by many of you, a nice cup of tea. While I’m not British and therefore won’t go on and on about the makings of a perfect tea leaf or how to brew a perfect cuppa, what I can tell you is that one of my favourite things does involve tea – but tea from (gasp!) France… Kusmi Tea to be exact.
I fell in love with Kusmi teas several years ago whilst visiting France and have been stocking up in bulk whenever I can find it locally or am in Paris. On my last trip to Paris, I brought home a new kind of tea that I had not tried before, Kusmi’s Green tea with Rose. While it could never be my overall Kusmi favourite as my heart will always belong to Kusmi’s Detox, it was a surprising purchase for me who normally likes teas tasting like good old-fashioned tea – or at least not like flowers. My husband said it was probably the pink tin which sold me and he may not be wrong…
The flavour of rose in tea may not appeal to your common sense when you first hear it, but rest assured that while it does have a floral taste, it’s very refreshing and light. I like to pair it with a cookie for an afternoon snack or have it with girlfriends for a girly tea afternoon. And if you weren’t sure about there being rose oils or something in the mix, don’t worry – Kusmi’s tea has actual rose petals in it. True luxury may be drinking rose petals, no?
Overall, I’d highly recommend this brand to anyone who is a big fan of tea – and this particular brew to anyone who enjoys a lighter flavoured tea. The brand is now readily available on sites like Amazon, so you shouldn’t have to get on a plane to Paris to bring some home – unless, you know, you need to 😉
We'd love to Hear From You!
