With it being so close to Christmas, everyone I know is running around like a madwoman – even those that I would describe as super organized and who had all their shopping done in October (Hello, my name is Amanda) Today, while hauling up the stack of Christmas cards from my mailbox, one envelope in particular called out to me to be opened – a red envelope adorned with a plaid sticker to look like a ribbon. Knowing immediately who it was from, I opened the envelope to find a unique and adorable card featuring this friend’s homemade artwork shared via her cards. After admiring the card while placing it on the mantel, I went to my computer to type an e-mail to said friend when my screen popped up with the most adorable little Etsy shop I’d ever seen, Janet Hill Studios. Fate!
We had to share some of the adorable artwork available from this small studio. Janet sells girly but fabulous reproductions of her artwork (and sometimes originals) and has an entire holiday section currently adding festive flair.
But Amanda, it’s December 18th! It will never arrive in time for Christmas! Ok, true. Trust random internet pop-ups to not take into account shipping delays. But you can still browse all of the other gems that Janet does have available and marvel at the whimsy and girlishness of some of the images of just girls from the head (or knees) down – and you can add to your bucket list to own original unique art in your own home – something that will be coming up in future articles soon!
Enjoy the last few days of 2014 – and we’ll enjoy daydreaming about being part of Janet’s Peppermint family and partaking in their holiday traditions.
