Every fashionista goes through the problem: you have closets full of clothes, but nothing to wear. It’s a funny paradox, and while fashionistas might enjoy the experience of trying on their hundreds of possible outfits, the activity can eat away at your time in much larger scales than you might imagine. Reports by The Telegraph show that women spend nearly one year in their whole lifetime just picking out what to wear.
If you want to cut back on the amount of time you spend picking out clothes, you may want to try playing a game of Wardrobe Bingo. Popularized by Boohoo.com, Wardrobe Bingo is just another variation of the traditional bingo game. Over the past few years, bingo has undergone a rather rapid transformation, with Free Bingo Hunter reporting that there are now hundreds of online bingo portals that see thousands of players every day. The game has also been used to promote healthy eating in the UK, with Eatwell Bingo, which helps the youth learn about the different food groups.
Boohoo.com’s instructions were simple: rifle through your closet to find five pieces that fall into each category: Hat, Top, Bottom, Shoes, Accessories; take photographs of the items, and set the photographs into a blank bingo card, with one column dedicated to each category. Number the items in each column from 1-5, and when it’s time to start playing, roll a die. The number you roll corresponds to the item you must wear for the day, and if you roll a 6, then you get free pick! Here’s a sample card from Watt We Wear:
As is customary with Wardrobe Bingo, you also need to provide photographs of the outfits you’ve built using the game. This is a great way to ensure you never have to worry about what to wear, and it also allows you to see which clothes work with each other.
Will you be playing wardrobe bingo? How do you best figure out what to wear every day?
