OK, so if you were hoping to marry George Clooney, you may not love Amal Alamuddin, the human rights lawyer from London who swept him off his feet and whom he married this past weekend in Italy. But here’s one thing you are going to have to give her credit for: her pretty bold – and arguably spectacular fashion choices she made this weekend knowing the eyes of the
paparazzi world would be on her and that she’d be harshly criticized for whatever she wore by the women who wanted to be her. It seemed to be a no-win situation for Amal. Until… She knocked it out of the fashion ballpark.
While I’m not even remotely brave enough to wear the mini-skirts that the new Mrs. Clooney did the first two looks below, nor do I think it is particularly “classy”… I have to admire her guts – and lack of flashing photos – to do so getting on and off boats in Venice. She seems to have a really great sense of who she is, which is, I’m sure, what George finds attractive in her.
Her sunglass collection must rival George’s… Her hair was immaculately done on all occasions too.
Photos of the wedding gown itself are coming via People Magazine shortly. What do you think? Fashion hit or miss?
